Steven Arthur Bowerman appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Monday, charged with cut trees or vegetation on Crown land and remove trees or vegetation on Crown land.
He pleaded guilty to both charges.
Magistrate Ken Stanton convicted Bowerman and fined him $300.
