Collecting their second premiership in three seasons with the 51-point victory, Lilydale were too classy, slamming on five unanswered goals in the first and second quarter to set the tone with their opponents struggling to come within an arm's reach from there.
Clearance machine and skillful midfielder Wil Lockhart took home the David O'Keefe memorial medal for best on ground with 100-goal recruit Sonny Whiting kicking six and Reuben Rothwell, 150-gamer Thane Bardenhagen and Zach Cooke slotting two.
Rothwell started things off for the Demons after several minutes of back-and-forth, scoreless play, converting a classy left foot kick on a tight angle kicking with the breeze.

He was closely followed by Tyson Watts after efficient clearance work from Lockhart and Logan Reynolds saw the Demons' number 32 in space for a snap.
St Pats' Claye Young answered immediately with a near-identical major claiming St Pats' first before Lilydale began to stamp their authority on the contest.
Whiting's first for the day began the spree and saw the Demons lead by 15 at quarter-time before he nailed three more and was met with assistance by Zac Barwick.
Daniel Sellers and Jake Laskey booted two late goals in the term to help stem the tide and give their side hope with a 7.5 (47) to 3.0 (18) scoreline greeting the two at half-time.
Scoring slowed slightly in the premiership quarter with Bardenhagen grabbing his first for the day thanks to a courageous pack mark and goal combination before Cooke picked up the crumbs in the goal square.
A 50-metre penalty saw Ben Laskey edge his side in but Rothwell and Cooke continued to take the game away from the Saints as a 52-point margin stood between them and the flag at three-quarter time.
Young kicked his second to start off the last term positively for St Pats but Bardenhagen was able to take advantage of a Rothwell bomb to the square.
The two sides exchanged goals before St Pats captain Tom Hilder was helped off the ground concussed following a non-malicious tackle from Trent Griggs.
Griggs then found himself in the thick of the action with Saints co-coach Jake Laskey kicking a goal and taunting the defender before a quick point to the scoreboard resulted in an exchange.
The Demons' year ended fittingly with a Bardenhagen pass to Whiting putting the cherry on top.
