The Northern Midlands Council is calling for community feedback on the Perth Mural Project, which could see murals depicting the town and its history appear across the town from the Train Park to the recreation ground.
The council was approached by a Perth resident last year with a proposal for the project, which the council supported at its February meeting with the resolution to develop a draft implementation strategy including suggested images and locations.

Following this, the council agreed to seek feedback from the community and Perth Local District Committee to inform a further report before final council approval.
More than a dozen murals are proposed under the draft plan, with council funding to be sought for four each financial year if eventually approved.
The full proposal and survey can be found on the Northern Midlands Council website.
