Those with past and present connections to Avoca Primary School will be able to gather together before it closes its doors for the last time at the end of 160 school years.
A celebration event will be held at the school in November, before the bell is rung for the final time.
"That will be a reunion for everybody that has been connected with the school," said Northern Midlands Council mayor Mary Knowles. "It should be a really good event."
Declining enrollment numbers lead to the March announcement the school would close after 2019.

A transition plan was to be developed by parents, staff and the Education Department to support the needs of the remaining 11 students during the shift to Campbell Town Primary School.
That support was slated to include an integrated learning program, a uniform provision, and a review of buses to transport students to Campbell Town District School from 2020.
Community consultation was to be undertaken on the future use of school facilities.
"It's very, very sad we've lost the school" said Cr Knowles, who worked at the school herself until being elected mayor in last year's local government elections. "Right throughout the Fingal Valley the jobs have been lost."
"We've just lost infrastructure galore all the way through the valley."
The Avoca Primary School's Last Bell will take place on Saturday, November 30 from 2pm to 5pm at 26-30 St Pauls Place, Avoca.
The event is set to feature photo displays throughout the school. Food, tea and coffee, and soft drinks will be provided, along with a jumping castle and children's face painting.
An official guest speaker will address the gathering at 3pm, with past students, teachers and principals also invited to speak before the final bell is rung.
Memorabilia including tea towels and USBs containing past and present photographs will also be available.
Those wishing to attend are asked to RSVP to email@example.com or 6384 2117 by Friday, October 25.
