The 14-year-old student has written a book, named Luke Luck, and is collecting proceeds from sales to go towards the Parkul Youth Development Society.
Ms Davis said she began writing the book in grade 4 for the short stories section in the Launceston Competitions.
"Luke Luck tells of an extremely unlucky boy. I based the idea off my own life - I am highly injury prone," she said.
Ms Davis decided to keep working on the book in year 8 as part of Scotch Oakburn's work with the Round Square network.
In other news:
As part of a conference with Round Square, Ms Davis visited India where she became inspired to help change living conditions for youth in the country.
"What I saw [in India], the level of poverty, [it] really shocked me and I wanted to do something," Ms Davis said.
The Parkul Youth Development Society is a charity organisation dedicated to clothing and educating underprivileged children in India.
"They [Parkul Youth Development Society] run a lot of projects ... they're running out of food to feed the children so they do food drives," she said.
"They find kids who are on the street or have no access to education and no future of coming out of the cycle of poverty and they educate them."
Ms Davis has raised $980 with a target of $1000 to reach in 15 days. You can donate by visiting pozible.com/profile/chloe-davis.
