The day celebrated the end of winter and the reopening of the house after being closed for two months during its winter conservation time, according to property manager Estelle Phillips.
"Today was our first day open for the season, we thought it would be nice to celebrate with our pets," Ms Phillips said.
"Clarendon is a popular spot for dog walkers so we thought why not embrace that and let's invite some organisations that help us look after our beloved friends."
In other news:
The day was highlighted by chaotic doggy races, where more than ten troublesome terriers bounded about the estate lawns.
Ms Phillips evened mentioned a couple of cats and a horse had made an appearance at the fun day.
"It [the event] is good for the community, Clarendon belongs to the people so it's nice to have everyone come along and celebrate its reopening with their family and pets," Ms Phillips said.
