Meeting at Youngtown on Saturday, Longford come off a three-week break but defeated the Parrots by 77 points in round 14, with coach Beau Thorp excited to return.
"The group is feeling refreshed after the weeks off. Those few with niggling injuries took the time off to get it right but we've still been training flat out," he said.
"It's obviously a big game for both with all three sides playing each other. It should be a solid game and I have no doubt it will be won and lost in the middle."
OTHER FOOTBALLING NEWS
Bridgenorth coach Brady Demeijer labelled the Hillwood win as exciting before switching focus to the Tigers.
"We hadn't beaten Hillwood, we knew there was a fair challenge in front of us and we implemented our game plans well," he said.
"Longford's strength is their defence - I think they average around 67 points scored against them. We will look to get a score on the board and apply their scoreboard pressure."
The Parrots look set to make two change this week with Lachlan Bonney and Jake Nunn pulling up sore and Nick Milbourne and Nick McElwee to return.
Following last week's loss, Hillwood's season is on the line as they face Rocherlea at Invermay Park on Sunday.
After struggling to utilize the breeze last weekend, Sharks coach Nathan Lowe is certainly wary of the Tigers' performances.
"They are the most in-form team in the competition. The way they've played from the start of the season, it's like they've had no weight on their shoulders and enjoying their footy," he said.
"They've brought in [Jordan] Cousens and [Adam] Etchell who are pretty handy players. Our mindset is strong, we put ourselves in this position and now we have to get the win."
Josh Moore will come in for the suspended Shannon Buller as Kaiden Cox-Goodyer and Cody Weedon shape as potential ins for Rocherlea with coach Andrew Cox-Goodyer complimentary of their showing last week.
"Before the game you could tell we were focused on what we had to do. It's good to see the boys start to gel at this time of year," he said.
"They got us early but we got them back. They play some good footy and have key players in Dan Withers, Jake King, Andrew Whitmore, Tom Bennett and Mark Walsh so we will have to be on top of our game.
"I've always said if our midfield is on top of their game, we can win. We will be looking at Jordan Cousens and Jacob Hawkins to get to the ball and get first use."
