Ziggy Robert Brunskill, 26, appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Tuesday over evading police, drive whilst disqualified, two counts of assault a public officer, two counts of common assault and 63 breaches of a family violence order.
On May 7 Brunskill attempted to avoid police interception while driving unlicensed on Faulkner and Ravenswood roads.
After police successfully deployed road spikes, Brunskill fled the on foot and attempted to jump a fence, but he slipped, hit his head and knocked himself unconscious. He sustained head injuries as a result of falling and lost a number of teeth.
Police rendered first aid before taking Brunskill back to the station where he told them he didn't want to keep driving because it was dangerous.

Defence lawyer Hannah Phillips told court the evade was relatively short and Brunskill stopped voluntarily after the road spikes.
Despite an interim family violence order that protected Brunskill's partner, he was recorded on the prison phone system abusing and threatening her during 109 calls from prison between May and June.
Brunskill's partner was added to his phone list twice under a false name and he addressed her on the phone as "babe" or derogatory terms.
Ms Phillips said the abuse was a two-way street in the relationship, but that did not make his behaviour OK.
While serving a different prison sentence in December, Brunskill questioned a fellow prisoner over allegedly making a complaint about another inmate.
The fellow prisoner stood up and loudly said to Brunskill: "Are you threatening me." Brunskill responded by punching the prisoner twice to the head.
Defence lawyer Hannah Phillips said there was more of a back story to the assault, with Brunskill believing the prisoner was trying to groom him.
About a month later Brunskill questioned a corrections officer in the laundry at Risdon Prison after access to call his partner was revoked.
Brunskill tried to punch the corrections officer, but he narrowly missed. Despite being detained and handcuffed, Brunskill also attempted to headbutt the officer.
Ms Phillips said Brunskill's mental health was very, very poor during this period, with another inmate calling her office on January 25 to express concern for his welfare.
The court heard Brunskill attempted suicide in prison after failing to get access to anti-depressant medication he'd taken for five years because it was alleged he was selling it.
He was released from prison on March 9, with Ms Phillips saying Brunskill engaged with a number of services upon release, including seeking help for his mental health and booking an appointment with Relationships Australia.
Brunskill was ordered to undergo a pre-sentence report. He was remanded to reappear on September 20.
