Launceston has locked in coach Mitch Thorp for the forseeable future following a promising first season at the helm.
Taking over from SANFL coach Sam Lonergan at the end of last season, Thorp has led the Blues to a third-straight finals appearance despite the loss of several key names in the off-season.
Already contracted for 2020, the 30-year-old has accepted a one-year extension with the option of taking the club into a fourth season in 2022.

Thorp said it was an "exciting time" to be coaching football in Tasmania and was happy to be staying in the state.
"The club's been absolutely fantastic with their support for me," Thorp said.
"I've had enormous support throughout the year and the playing group have gone above and beyond with their training habits and work ethic.
"The coaching staff, the board and the support I've got from the club has made coaching really enjoyable again and I've certainly got the thirst back for a career in coaching.
"It's a very bright future and we're looking forward to seeing how far we can go this season."

Thorp's extension comes ahead of an elimination final clash with Kingborough on Saturday, which will mark the Blues' first home final in 11 years.
Launceston finished the home and away season with 11 wins - their equal-best tally since 2013 - and have debuted more than a dozen new players since round 1.
Club president Sandra Boland said she was delighted to extend Thorp's deal.
"Mitch has been a great leader of our club and has developed strong relationships with our current playing group, volunteers and members," Boland said.
"The future is looking bright, with an exciting young playing group to guide.
"They have plenty of energy and enthusiasm under Mitch and I believe they'll be a highly committed group, capable of achieving great things together.
"I have faith he will continue to give the role the energy it needs and he has my full support."
