Chamber executive officer Neil Grose said the awards showcased the wonderful achievements of the North's businesses.
"Once again this year we have seen some amazing local businesses enter the awards. These businesses compete on the local, national and international markets and the award process shows the excellence of our local business community," he said.
More than 100 entries were made into the 20 categories, which this year included a new category in design.
The winners will be announced at a black-tie gala dinner on October 26.
