Along with the Council of the Ageing Tasmania chief executive Sue Leitch, Commissioner Dr Kay Patterson will deliver an educational bookmark to raise awareness of elder abuse and the rights of older Tasmanians.
"Elder abuse continues to be a scourge on older Tasmanians but there are services in Tasmania that can help," Dr Patterson said.
The bookmark provides key information to recognise signs of elder abuse so people can access support if it's needed.
On August 28 they will visit St Helens, Scottsdale and Launceston.
Dr Patterson will speak on age discrimination at the Launceston School for Seniors at 1.30pm. Westbury and Burnie will be visited on Thursday.
