Having lost the previous two clashes by 141 points and losing star midfielder Maggie Cuthbertson to suspension, the odds are stacked against the developing Bombers as they welcome back Renee Wilson and Ulverstone under-17s player Mya Slatter.
"It's certainly a tough ask with them being undefeated," he said.
"Having Maggie out adds to the woes but playing Launceston is always good as it fast-tracks the girls' development and experience.

"We may be a touch battle-weary but we will look to hold together and remain positive through everything and use this as a good test for Clarence in a couple of weeks."
The Bombers come into the clash following an upset loss to Tigers, having traveled down South undermanned through injury and unavailability - with two under-17s sides facing off in a finals clash.
"Our backline last week was fairly young and inexperienced, with four of our main defenders out. Considering their age I think they did pretty well in the battle."
The undefeated Blues picked up a comfortable win last weekend despite kicking an inaccurate 6.17, with coach Angela Dickson pleased with the work-rate after half-time.
"We left the door open for our opposition which we have been doing a bit recently," she said.
"Our effort wasn't there in the first half and we weren't pushing for multiple contests but we were able to re-evaluate and perform at our level."
Welcoming back experienced heads Chanette Thuringer and Hayley Whyte across the half-back line as well as Amy Halaby and Jennifer Guy for speed through the middle, Dickson said several Blues will be getting their bodies right for finals with the Haines sisters on the sideline for the derby.
"It's always an exciting clash, it's something the girls look forward to - the Northern derby.
"It's good to have a bit of a competition to see who is the strongest team in the North and it's a great lead-up for finals so we can get everything right.
"We are working on how we start and will look to dominate the midfield to get on top early. We've started slow the last 3-4 weeks so it's a really big focus."
With a win on Sunday, Launceston would become the first side to go through the season undefeated since the birth of the TSLW competition.
In other match-ups, Tigers take on Lauderdale and Glenorchy square off with Clarence.
