In Beaconsfield, the whole town dresses up - including West Tamar councillors and shop owners - to walk through the streets, with children stopping at various locations, where community members read books to them.
"It's a really exciting, inclusive event that celebrates book week in a beautiful way and has a really positive impact on our community," Beaconsfield Child and Family Centre general manager Stewart Bell said.
The community is raising funds for four local charities as part of The Examiner's Winter Relief Appeal. Can you help?
