He's one of many people floating around the ACL Cricket Club with a passion for cribbage, which has long been associated with the gentleman's game.
"I've been playing crib since my early teenage years playing cricket," he said.
"It was one of those things where a lot of the older guys used to play.
"Especially during rain delays and things like that where we'd be waiting around, or before and after training.
"I'm showing my age here, but it would be 25 years that I've been playing cribbage, at least."
IN OTHER NEWS:
The inaugural Tasmanian Cribbage Championships will be presented by the ACL Cricket Club and are sponsored by Finance Brokers Tasmania.
There will be a minimum $500 in prizemoney, with potentially more depending on numbers.
Mr Kedey said any players with an interest in cribbage were strongly encouraged to come along.
"We know we've got a father-son-grandfather combination coming," he said.
"It's the kind of game that often runs across generations."
