The fast-approaching Junction Arts Festival has released further details of its 2019 program, including new performers, a collaboration between some of the state's top chefs and the return of Open House Launceston.

Greg Clarke, the festival's creative director, said the team was "so excited" to share more details of the event.
"It's going to be a massive four day celebration and everyone's invited."
Food is set to be a big feature of the festivities as Timbre head chef Matt Adams joins forces with Massimo Mele from Grain of Silos, Johnny McCoy of Pachinko and Danielle Lefrancis of Hubert & Dan to cook up a campfire feast at Princes Square.

Those keen to get behind the scenes at some of the city's buildings will be well-catered too.
Open House Launceston will return with 20 tours across 38 sites, presented by Open House Hobart and the Australian Institute of Architects.
The festival's late-night party, Club Barbezat, will take over a new space and feature performers from Mood Organ to DJ YUKI and SCRAPS.
While a new free music program in Princes Square will include Tasmanian talents such as Just Flare, Isabel, Cam Illingworth and Monique How.
A collaboration with MOFO Sessions will bring organ and electronic performances to the City Baptist Church and Milton Hall.
And street artist RONE will present a series of virtual reality experiences and artist talks.
