Tasmania has cruised to a 93-run victory over the Northern Territory in its first 50-over pre-season game at Marrara.
Former Test batsman Alex Doolan (seven fours, three sixes) led the way with 83 in a 143-run opening stand with form opener Caleb Jewell (60 retired) as the Tigers posted 9-264 from their 50 overs.
Matthew Hammond took 4-40 to help inspire a late-innings collapse of 7-67, while familiar foe Aaron Summers took 2-41 from his eight overs.
The hosts were then bowled out for 171 in 37 overs with Tigers opening duo Jackson Bird and Sam Rainbird flying through the top order with two wickets each.

Jewell enjoyed another stellar knock with a 53-ball 90 as part of a 141-run opening stand with Charlie Wakim (55) as the Hurricanes posted 2-175.
Freeman was the Hurricanes' most potent with the ball, picking up two wickets in two balls and the key scalp of Harry Chamberlain (65) en route to figures of 4-28 off four overs as the Blaze scrambled to 8-147.
The 19-year-old has two first-class and two Big Bash appearances to his name.
