IN OTHER NEWS:
Mona Foma Business Development & Sponsorship manager Angelique Brcic said they wanted businesses "to leverage off the success of the people we bring to Mona Foma".
"It's an opportunity for Launceston to turn the city on and let everyone know how amazing the city is," she said.
Tourism Northern Tasmania chief executive Chris Griffin said around 6000 tickets holders attended each event during Mona Foma 2019, with visitors staying an average of 6.4 nights, so "there was a lot of stimulus coming to the region".
"We're looking for the last two weeks of January to be bolstered in terms of visitation," Mr Griffin said.
"The key thing we want our Northern businesses to do is get involved in the programs that we've organised with Mona - they are free," he said.
The session is geared towards preparing businesses for a major influx of visitors during the 2020 festival.
"There will be so many people on the street [that] being open and being Mona Foma-ed up is really all that we're asking," Ms Brcic said.
