"I've got children coming out the wazoo at the moment," he said. "The world's burning and I'm a lefty so why not just drive it into the ground if nobody's going to do anything about it."
Fresh from hosting the Logie-nominated Taboo - which saw the acclaimed comedian get to know people living with terminal and mental illness, the impacts of bigotry and physical disability before performing a standup routine for them - Breen is back to what he knows in a new national run of shows.
With a 9-year-old, a toddler and another baby on the way, parenthood is a big aspect.

"It's made me more aware of people that are sitting in pretty unique circumstances that I would never have ever had to consider because of the height of privilege that I sit at," he said.
- Fresh Comedy with Harley Breen will be held on August 16 at Boags Brewery Bar, Launceston
