With Glenorchy coming from behind to beat Tigers at KGV, the Blues needed to win to stay in the hunt for third spot and showed their intent early with six of the first seven goals.
Things only got worse for the home side after half-time as the Blues conceded just four more points to win 14.11 (95) to 4.6 (30).
Launceston coach Mitch Thorp, who led from the sidelines to nurse a niggly knee, said winning 10 games was a huge achievement for his side.

"We were pretty keen for this game," Thorp said.
"We had a pretty strong period a month ago and the last two weeks we've obviously had losses.
"The boys were ready to go as of Thursday night - you have that sense as a coach when a game is going to be a strong performance and it certainly was that today."
Thorp's absence only served to highlight the Blues' wealth of on-field leaders as skipper Jobi Harper and player of the year award favourite Fletcher Seymour dominated the midfield battle.
Seymour snagged three goals among 30 touches to continue his stellar run against his old side, and enjoyed good supply from ruckman Hamish Leedham.
Utility Alec Wright grabbed his chance to lead the Blues forward line with three third-term goals to finish with a career-high four, but it was another developing young forward who won praise from Thorp post-game.

"James Gillow's had a pretty under-rated season - his good footy is outstanding but the best part of his game today wasn't his three goals, it was his 10 tackles," Thorp said.
"He's a young kid that's cutting his teeth and I rate him extremely highly, think he's going to be a really big goalkicker in this competition as he matures."
Launceston heads into the bye needing a win and two Glenorchy losses to finish third.
The Magpies host Lauderdale and North Launceston in the final two rounds, while the Blues will meet Kingborough at Windsor Park in round 21.
