On Sunday, 10 to 15mm of rain is expected through the south, west, and lower East Coast.
Less than 2mm is expected elsewhere, with little to no rainfall on the north coast.
In Launceston, there's expected to be a slight chance of a shower in the morning with possible hail. However, the rainfall is not expected to exceed 0.2mm.
Snow levels are predicted to rise to about 900m during Sunday morning.

A gale warning is in place for the far North-West Coast, with strong wind warnings through the east of Flinders Island, and along the East Coast, south-west coast, and central West Coast.
In the state's south, a minor flood warning was put in place for the Huon River.
A flood watch was also in place for the Derwent and South East catchments.
In Launceston for the coming days, residents can expect cool, frosty mornings, with partly cloudy skies and light winds.
