Tasmania's under-12 boys have recorded back-to-back wins at School Sports Australia's national carnival following a dominant 13.9 (87) to 2.3 (15) win over Northern Territory.

Following up from their mammoth 115-point win over Australian Capital Territory on Thursday, coach Jamie Hayward was pleased with his players but felt like Friday's win wasn't their best performance.
"We had our best game on Thursday with the ACT win, so on the scoreboard the win looked pretty good but coming off the emotions of the win, the performance wasn't quite as strong," he said.
"In saying that, the way the boys have been moving the football has been really impressive."

Ruckman Nash Walker led the way for the Devils, kicking eight goals in a role Hayward calmly described as "resting forward" while Ethan Bonde, Bowen Clemons and Northern prospect Maverick Gerard enjoyed their best performances of the carnival so far.
With a week-long goal to "take the game on" against their higher-fancied opponents, AFL Tasmania's North-West talent manager is looking for the boys to "turn up" for Saturday's final game of the carnival, a play-off for fifth and sixth against New South Wales.
