Jeromey Webberley's Roos came under fire after a loss to North Hobart four weeks ago but have since hosed down criticism by playing their best footy of the season, culminating in last week's shock upset.
Another Bellerive boilover would seriously dent Launceston's hopes of finishing third, but Blues coach Mitch Thorp believes a fast start could help take the wind out of the Roos' sails.

"They've got a little bit of momentum and with a young group often that can be hard to stop," he said.
"We've had two games against them this year that we've done a pretty good job in early in the game so we need to make sure that happens again."
Launceston named an unchanged side from last week's loss to North, while Sam Green [school footy] was Clarence's sole omission.
Star Roos winger Jake Cox escaped unscathed from a stellar return from injury last weekend and will be watched closely by Thorp's Blues.
"He's a star," Thorp said.
"I've played a lot of footy with and against Jake, I rate him really highly.
"I think he's their barometer, he's someone who can hit the scoreboard and also get a lot of the ball around the ground so we hold him in high regard."
The Blues have won both encounters this season, including keeping Clarence to just four goals in a rainy round 13 slog, prompting Webberley to label them the TSL's best wet-weather team.
