The Heritage and Bullock Festival will showcase the rich history of Oatlands.
Festival coordinator Andrew Benson said the town had the largest number of intact Georgian buildings in a village environment in the country.
He said the festival encompassed the whole town, with many community groups and businesses also onboard.
"This year will be somewhat similar to last year, but even more," he said. "It'll be a good bit of fun."
Traditional trades and crafts such as hedge laying and dry stone walling, leather working, traditional joinery, hand weaving and spinning, blacksmiths and farriers will be showcased, alongside mock trials and Brian Fish's bullocks.
The weekend will also feature pipe bands, Chinese lion dancers, food, entertainment, and heritage machinery.
Mr Benson said it was often hard to draw tourists to the town in the middle of winter, but hoped the festival would draw people from far and wide to see what Oatlands had to offer.
A coach will be available for easy access around the village.
More than 5000 people attended last year's inaugural event.
