A man who abducted a women and raped her at knifepoint in a Devonport caravan park will have an appeal against his conviction heard in November.

Heath Lance Chatters was sentenced to 10 years' jail in 2017 for the crime.
Chatters had been out of jail for a number of weeks in 2015 when he abducted the 25-year-old from a service station and took her to the caravan park.
He held the woman hostage for three hours and threatened to slit her throat and cause harm to her family during the ordeal.
Chatters will argue the two judges who oversaw his trial had erred in their refusal to accept his application to change his guilty plea.
Chief Justice Alan Blow set a date for the week in the week starting November 11.
