The third Northern derby of the season will see the Phil Edwards Cup contested for the second time, with Launceston holding a 1-0 lead after its development league side shouldered the club home last season.
Honouring The Examiner's respected sport journalist, the cup is awarded to the side that kicks the most goals across the day, with this year's fixtures including under-18s, development league and seniors matches.
Launceston general manager Angela Shipp said both clubs took great pride in competing for the cup.
"I knew Phil and he was a fantastic supporter of both clubs," Shipp said.
"So the fact we can honour his legacy by showing his family and everyone else that he really was an important part for both clubs is really important and really special."
North Launceston appear a good chance to win the cup for the first time in 2019 having beaten the Blues on two occasions at both senior and development league level in 2019.
The two sides have won one game each in under-18 derbies this season.
