With the four semi-finalists already locked in and the top-three pace-setters likely to finish level on points, Cavaliers appear to be heading for a knockout semi-final against fourth-placed Kingston.
Club coach Dannie Carstens said the Sunday afternoon fixture at St Brendan Shaw College presents a welcome opportunity to plan for the following weekend.
"It's a really important game in terms of our finals preparation because you really want momentum going in," she said.

You really want momentum going into finals
- Cavaliers club coach Dannie Carstens
"It's an opportunity to get things right after a couple of weeks of not really executing our game plan well. It's a good match for the coaches to cement some things and the girls to deliver on their instructions."
Carstens said it was great for the statewide competition to have Arrows, Northern Hawks and Cavaliers charging towards a three-way tie at the top, although percentage seems destined to deliver the other two a priceless second chance.
"I think we would need to win by over 100 goals to change that so we're going in assuming we're going to play Kingston and looking at what we will need to do to win that game."
Opens coach Dan Roden has a full squad to select from along with the best of Carstens' 19s team including Courtney Treloar and Piper Sanders.
Fresh from their 67-57 derby success on Saturday night, Northern Hawks have a last-round bye and co-coaches Ruth Tuohy and Kellie Woolnough said they welcome the chance to regroup ahead of the finals series.
The semi-finals will be held in Hobart next Saturday (August 10) with first place playing second. The winners will progress to the August 24 grand final while the losers will play the winners of the third-versus-fourth match.
That preliminary final will be played at the Silverdome on Saturday, August 17, to complement the 3pm Super Netball fixture between the Collingwood Magpies and NSW Swifts.
