The highly-successful athlete and footballing star has been rewarded for his prowess with a nomination in The Examiner's Junior Sports Awards for 2019, battling it out for Male Sportsperson of the Year.
Set to represent Tasmania at the national championships in Woolongong this year, the aspiring athlete took out both the NIJSSA and All Schools cross-country events in June.
Alongside Xavier, Sacred Heart schoolmate Oscar Marsden will also make the trip to Woolongong with the boys two of the students leading the school to a seventh consecutive NIJSSA cross-country title, putting them into unrivaled territory.
The talented athlete backed up the two impressive and dominant performances by taking out Newstead Athletics' school series, 14 points ahead of his nearest rival as he crossed the line first at the events in Carrick, Heritage Forest, Grindelwald and Trevallyn Reserve.
ELSEWHERE IN SPORT
As of last year, Xavier holds three multi-event records for the South Launceston Little Athletics Club for his seasons in the under 6, 8 and 9 age groups.
Sacred Heart physical education teacher John Anderson described Xavier as "a great team player" with an enormous work ethic, with the 10-year-old also rising up in Northern Tasmania's footballing ranks.
Running around for Launceston Football Club's under-12 division two side this season, he has found the big sticks 14 times across his 15 games, a four-goal haul against Deloraine his highest output in front of goal.
Sitting comfortably atop the NTJFA ladder for the competition, Xavier's side boasts a percentage of 743 and have only been defeated three times this season at the hands of Scottsdale, Longford and Tamar.
Featuring within the side's best players nine times, Xavier has enjoyed a solid year so far on the park for the Blues as a consistent member, one that would be improved later in the season by lifting up the premiership.
Xavier follows in the footsteps of sister Isabella, who won the 2016 Female Rising Star award.
