With a bye in the final round, the Hawks will have the time to rest up before the semi-finals in Hobart while the Cavaliers have the chance to bounce back against bottom-placed Devon with perennial grand finalists Arrows also set to play a significant role.
Up by two goals at quarter-time, Hawks blew Cavs away in the second quarter and despite a late comeback held on to win 67-57.

Hawks co-coaches Kellie Woolnough and Ruth Tuohy said it was a perfect way for their team to round out the regular season.
"Fantastic outcome," Woolnough said. "We could not have finished the season any better.
"We've done as much as we can and we're ready for the break."
Cavs coach Dan Roden responded: "The second quarter let us down but I'm proud of the way we battled it out and we won the last quarter when we could have had a blow out like we did against Arrows.
"We've got a lot of work to do before the first final because we've probably lost that top two spot now, but we're up to the challenge."
