The 18-year-old was one of seven Tasmanians to follow through to the second round of the championships via Eastern Allies selection, and finished as the Allies' most valuable player.

A member of Launceston's 2017 TSLW premiership side, King averaged 18 disposals and six tackles across three Eastern Allies matches after two Tasmanian outings where she averaged 18 touches and four tackles.

King is strongly tipped to be picked up as an academy selection by North Melbourne in this year's national draft, and has a big fan in the club's AFLW list manager Rhys Harwood.

"She's certainly an impressive person first and foremost and she had a really good entire carnival with both the teams," Harwood told Credit to the Girls podcast.

"She's certainly tracking really well.

"She's pretty ruthless in the contest and described as a little bit of a tractor - she's a bit of a Britt Gibson 'lite' 2.0 - her intent around stoppages is super impressive but as a person as well she's a lovely kid."

King was the sole Tasmanian in the All-Australian side and was named in the forward pocket.
