The 16-year-old has represented Tasmania within her chosen sport and has been nominated for Female Junior Sportsperson of the Year in Coles' 2019 Junior Sports Awards.
Plying her trade in the Cavaliers' under-19 state league side, Monique has been a part of many NENA representative teams on the East Coast originally performing strongly in defence before making the switch forward.

"I'm pretty lucky because I've got a pretty natural shooting style but it's definitely taken a lot of work to get the accuracy," she said.
While developing her own game throughout her four-year netball career, Monique has taken her first step into the coaching ranks, encouraging the younger generation to grace the court as well.
Monique was named player of the match in Cavaliers' U19 round four match against Arrows this season.
