There is an 80-100 per cent chance of rain in Launceston on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, and a 50-60 per cent chance on Wednesday and Saturday.
There are similar conditions throughout the North of the state, except for the East Coast where it will be drier: there is only a high chance of rain on Tuesday and Friday from St Helens to Bicheno.

Up in the mountains snowy conditions will continue, with falls predicted at Ben Lomond on Monday, Tuesday. Friday and Saturday, and at the Central Highlands on Tuesday and Wednesday.
In Launceston, there are likely to be winds of 30-45 km/h on Monday, with wind speeds of 15-30 km/h the rest of the week. There is a gale force wind warning in place on Monday for the South and West coasts.
In Launceston the coldest day this week will be Wednesday, getting down to one degree overnight. Maximum temperatures will float between 13-15 degrees.
