The park remains in its final phase of construction with a planned opening date of July 27.
However, inclement and rainy weather are a factor in construction progress, according to City of Launceston general manager Michael Stretton.
In other news:
"We're in the final stages of construction now but we have had some wet weather in recent weeks - and more forecast next week - which has slowed progress and may continue to do so," he said.
"We're still within our projected timeframes and we will be in a better position to provide a more detailed update next week.
"The park is looking fantastic and we're very excited too that its opening is imminent."
