Four months after kicking off their return to statewide competition, Olympic finally recorded their first home win of the season as Wademan bagged a brace against Clarence.
Meanwhile at Kingborough, Mies turned provider, assisting goals for Thomas Ottavi and Mackenzie Hancox to bank City's fifth win in eight games.

Olympic coach Alex Gaetani believes his side is finally finding its feet in the big time after pushing Olympia, holding South Hobart and now beating Clarence.
"We deserved to win but we really should have had more in the net," he said.
"When you don't you run the risk of being hit on the counter and we needed a couple of good saves from our keeper but it should have been five or six by then.
"So I'm happy with the victory, and back-to-back clean sheets is good, but we were not at our best and will need to be more clinical in the next couple of weeks."
Gaetani's side adapted well to several enforced changes with Mitch Jones and Drew Sykes covering well for the injured Michael Monticchio and Ethan Olner, Liam Gilmore slotting in for suspended playmaker Luca Vigilante and popular striker Ryan McCarragher making a welcome return.
Wademan decided proceedings by taking his Riverside tally to 20 goals in his last 19 games with his second double in three weeks but the Yorkshireman will be gutted he didn't make it a hat-trick.
His first came early, via a Gilmore throughball and Aaron Campbell flick header, and the second was equally well dispatched on the hour but he had at least three more clear chances where he couldn't beat the excellent Nicholas Downham.
The fact that Campbell, Matt Spanos, Will Humphrey, Will Coert, Jones, Gilmore and McCarragher also failed to add to the score indicates the extent of Olympic's dominance and how much it would have hurt had Jarrod Hill not saved superbly from Adam Hedge's spectacular volley and Jackson Ebini's dipping late shot.
City kept in-form Kingborough goalless before finding the net on the hour and five minutes from time to secure the points.
The mystery former Northern Rangers man coach Lino Sciulli had hinted at signing up was Scott Murray who slotted straight into the starting XI at Lightwood Park.
Ottavi broke the deadlock from close range after Mies' aerial dominance had claimed a Martin Mitreski free-kick and the talented frontman confirmed the result with a silky turn and cross in the corner which was gleefully headed home by Hancox.
Goals from Jonathan Mulungula, Joffrey Nkoso and Jack Ryan kept the title race interesting on Friday night as Olympia hit top spot with a 3-1 win at home against third-placed South Hobart who hit back through Bradley Lakoseljac.
Hobart Zebras host second-placed Devonport at KGV at 2.15pm on Sunday.
