Still stinging from single-digit defeats in last year's deciders, Devils have won through to both grand finals again to face men's newcomers City Lions and women's titleholders Japara.
City will go in strong favourites in the men's clash having recorded three wins and one tight loss in their four clashes with Devils this season.
The Lions won the most recent fixture by 31 points thanks to a showstopping 34 points from mid-season recruit Kai Woodfall.
MORE BASKETBALL: Teen Torns set for season finale
The former Missouri Baptist point guard is averaging a league-high 28 points a game and has hit 41 three-pointers in just eight outings.
"He was a handy addition for us to have him, and then we've had other good contributors like Josh Murray and Brad Grey," Lion Elliot Warren said.
"It's pretty much been us two and Rebels as the top three teams all year.
"We've had close games all year so the final will be good - hopefully a close and competitive game."
Devils coach Brett Smith will be relying on teenage talent such as 17-year-old Jackson Lowe to get the job done against more seasoned opponents.
"We've had a bit of a wavy season consistency wise," Lowe said.
"We've been really good one week and down another so it will be good to compete against them and have another crack at them.
"Jack Rathmell is a big contributor to our team and Scott Beeston with the whole hustle [he brings] and obviously Ben Rigby.
"Then we've had big Joshy [Apete] come back who's brought a good look to our team, but everyone's playing alright at the moment."
MORE IN SPORT: Richie Porte caught up in another Tour crash
A similar backstory precedes the women's final, with Japara romping to a 47-point win over Devils just two weeks ago thanks to 25-point displays from Micah Simpson and Torns import Stella Beck.
The latter has since departed on New Zealand national duty, while Devils should regain her Tornadoes teammate Brittany Hodges.
"We haven't had our full team yet - this'll be a first to have our full side for the grand final which will be good," Devil Sophie Ackerly said.
"We've definitely learned from [the semi-final loss] and we'll come back next Wednesday night more keen - especially after our win on Wednesday - that was really good to play well as a team and get confidence going into this week.
"With our full team back and them missing a few players it should be really close."
Simpson, who played in last year's grand final win and sits fourth in the league for points, said her side was confident of continuing the form that has seen it drop just one game all year.
"We've had a pretty solid season and we're well prepared, so hopefully it shows in the grand final," the 16-year-old said.
Both matches will be played at Elphin Sports Centre, with the women tipping off at 6.30pm and the men following at 8.30pm.
