Operation Christmas Child, a project of Christian aid organisation Samaritan's Purse, involves filling shoeboxes with gifts and wrapping them before sending them out into the world.
Beth Garwood has been organising a fundraising concert for the project for nine years, with food, musical performances, skits, and personal impact stories from children helped.
"When you see how much your grandmother puts into something and she's so passionate about it, it really does instil some inspiration in you - and to use the opportunities that I've been blessed with to go forth and bless others," Mr Garwood said.
The concert is at Tamar Valley Christian Church, Exeter, on July 27 from 7pm, $20 adults, $16 concession, $5 children 3-14.
