One car hit three others in a serious crash at Tea Tree in the state's south.

Emergency services attended the four-car crash on Tea Tree Road about 4pm on Wednesday.
Tasmania Police said a silver Mitsubishi Magna sedan was travelling west when it collided with a white Toyota Landcruiser Prado, white Suzuki Baleno sedan, and white Hyundai Lantra station wagon which were all travelling east.
The driver and sole occupant of the silver Mitsubishi, a 22-year-old man from Sorell, received serious leg injuries as a result of the crash.
Occupants of the other cars were taken to the Royal Hobart Hospital, but did not sustain any major injuries.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
