CanDrive began as a way for Andrew and Amanda Cowley to give back to the community.
Mr Cowley said the drive provided vital supplies to the Launceston Benevolent Society.
It was an easy way to help out but made a huge impact, he said, with literal tonnes of food being collected from more than 100 schools and businesses throughout Launceston.
Ideal donations include non-perishable items such as canned goods, rice, and pasta, alongside toiletries.
To get involved, registrations can still be made online. Boxes will be collected during the first week of August.

The community is raising funds for four local charities as part of The Examiner's Winter Relief Appeal. Can you help?
