The women's team saw its run come to an end with a 4-0 defeat against Western Australia.
The Tasmanians were on the back foot from the first quarter as the Western Australians opened the scoring in the ninth minute and continued to pile on the pressure in the second term with two more goals.
Although the damage was already done for the Tasmanian's semi-final hopes, Western Australia added a sealer in the third quarter and the game was scoreless in the final term.
The men's team gave it their all against New South Wales, but fell to a 6-0 defeat.
New South Wales put the Tasmania men to the sword with goals in the first and ninth minutes to lead 2-0 at quarter time and added another two goals by half time.
The Tasmanian men stemmed the tide slightly with only two more goals scored in the second half..
Both teams will battle it out in the playoffs for fifth to eighth place and will women's side will meet New South Wales Blue and men's team will face Queensland.
The finals series resumes on Tuesday.
