The Huskies' started the game slow against the Hawk's second stringers, only leading by one point after the first.
But that was about as close as the two teams came to one another, as the Huskies took complete control of the game and never looked back.
The home team played with a chip on its shoulder after the Bay Hawkes announced they would only be sending their backups to conserve energy for the playoffs.
Head coach Anthony Stewart said it was certainly a game they could win convincingly and they did.

Fan-favourite Jalen Billups put on a clinic for the home crowd in the final quarter scoring 11 points in seven minutes.

He ended the game as lead scorer with 22 points as well as blocker with two.
Both centre Harry Froling and forward Marcel Jones played great matches scoring over 20 points each.
Stewart said he was proud of how the first season wrapped up.
"Our effort in the second half of the season's been really good," he said.
"We've obviously brought in Harry Froling, I think we've won three of our last four... [it] would've been nice to have him all year.
"I think we've got to continue to build and I think it's been an awesome product, a really high level of competition people in Tasmania deserve so hopefully it'll be even bigger and better next year."
