Saturday night is a huge one for the Southern Huskies. The Tassie NBL team will take on the Hawks Bay Hawks in the final game of the season at the Silverdome, where they will be going all out to impress the fans in their last chance to show off their moves before the season ends. The Hawks, in turn, are getting ready for their Final 4 playoff game and are expected to field a strong side in preparation.

Meanwhile, here at The Examiner we're getting very excited for the Winter Relief movie night we're hosting on Wednesday at the Star Theatre.
Come along for a special presentation from QVMAG astronomer Martin George, as well as two fabulous movies with very different tones.
The first is the awe-inspiring Apollo 11, a critically-lauded documentary which takes viewers right into the action of the gripping and awe-inspiring mission to land a man on the moon.
Then watch side-splitting Aussie comedy the Dish. If you haven't heard of the charming film - based on the true story of the critical moon-landing observatory in the middle of an Aussie paddock - all you need to know is Rob Sitch was behind it, and everything Rob Sitch does is perfect. (See: the Castle, Thank God You're Here, Frontline, Utopia.)
The movie night starts at 6pm and costs $30, with $5 from each ticket sold going to the The Examiner Winter Relief appeal for those doing it tough.
