Police have charged a Launceston man in relation to a number of shack burglaries in the Central Highlands in March.

The 44-year-old is facing seven counts of aggravated burglary and six counts of stealing.
He was bailed to appear in the Launceston Magistrates Court on August 21.
He was the second person to be charged in relation to the holiday house burglaries at Miena - a town about an hour-and-a-half drive south-west of Launceston.

Formerly known as Shannon Hayes, the 31-year-old stole thousands of dollars of items from households and businesses between August and March.
She will appear before Magistrate Ken Stanton for sentence on July 26.
