Likely Tasmania's keenest young fly fisherman, Lucas Millwood's passion began at a very early age.
"I was just watching fish videos and stuff like that," the 10-year-old said.
"My Dad [Stuart] started getting me into outdoors and I wanted to go fishing so we went fishing."
Mum Lucy puts it like this.
"He caught his first shark when he was still in nappies - there's a picture of him standing on the beach holding up a gummy shark in his nappy."

A grade five student at West Launceston Primary, Lucas has begun to explore uncharted waters in recent times after becoming familiar with many of the fishing spots Tasmania has to offer.
Successful family trips to Victoria, New South Wales and the Northern Territory have been and gone, with a bass expedition in Tweed River next on the agenda.
Not that there aren't plenty of bites at home - especially in the Launceston CBD.
"He's had a few employment opportunities for as soon as he hits age 14," Lucy said.
"People want him to take them guiding and every time we go into BCF they say 'when you turn 14 come back'.
"When he's not fishing he's tying flies - he's a regular at the fly fishing shop in Launceston and all the fishing shops know who he is.
"Not a day goes by that he's not tying flies ... but definitely fly fishing is his favourite thing and catching trout."

Known to fish from dusk until dawn, Lucas boasts a best effort of 36 trout in a day but doesn't let his love for fishing stop at just the catching.
"It'll be a lifelong commitment for him, and he's really respectful as well for what he catches," Lucy said.
"I remember being down at Coles Bay and he caught 23 cod and one squid and he only kept the squid, so he very rarely keeps them, he usually lets them go.
"He loves the species and learning about them as well, but the ones he doesn't keep he knows how to fillet them, he knows how to cook them - I don't have to touch the fish at all.
"I just bang a few vegetables on his plate and that's it."
