Ranked number one for her age group in Tasmania, Amy competed in the national BMX championships in Shepparton, Victoria, placing sixth and has been rewarded for that effort with an invitation by BMX Australia to attend the world championships in Belgium.
On top of the ground-breaking achievement for both Launceston and Tasmanian BMX, Amy has been nominated for Female Junior Sportsperson of the Year in Coles' Junior Sports Awards with her fantastic commitment to the sport on show regularly.
OTHER NOMINEES
Training for her chosen sport twice weekly, Amy also features in basketball and football teams but BMX continues to be the main love.
Amy is aiming to continually improve to be the best as she remains dedicated and passionate to achieve her end goal.
