Mia Schuemaker will go on to represent Australia in international modelling competitions, with one coming up in India, and another in the Philippines, Miss Teen Australia chief executive Gavin Dooley said.
"I think Mia is going to do very well," he said.
"She carries herself well, she is able to articulate herself well - it's not only about beauty, and brains, but it's also about the personality now."
The entrants walked an 18 metre runway set up along the entrance corridor at Queen Victoria Museum, Inveresk.
Awards handed out were Miss Teen Australia, Runner-up, Miss Photogenic, Miss People's Choice, Best Evening Gown, Miss Congeniality, and Best Swimwear.
National director Sue Rees said the girls and their parents raved about Launceston.
"It was an outstanding four days," she said.
