Hosted by the Events Northern Midlands Association, the Winter Makers Market is another in a coordinated range of activities throughout the region across the year to ensure there is "always something happening", according to Northern Midlands Business Association executive officer Gordon Williams.
"Makers Market means it's not stuff that has come out of the container or off of a boat - it's stuff that has come out of the hands and talents of the good people of Tasmania," he said.
Mr Williams said previous markets had hosted close to 50 stalls and covered a "huge gamut" from food to craft to home-wares. "The organisers are hoping for another fantastic result as well."
- The market will be held Sunday, 28 July from 10am to 3pm at 8 High St, Evandale
