Scottsdale has advanced to a third-straight grand final by stunning minor premiers South Launceston.
With Scottsdale unbeaten since round two and the Dogs undefeated all season, an arm wrestle was to be expected though few would have predicted a goal-less first half.
But having taken a five-point lead into the main break, the Magpies continued to create more inside-50s than their opponents and goals to Pamella Roles and Mikayla Binns were enough to win 2.9 (21) to 0.0 (0).
Skipper Letitia Johnston and veteran defender Cara Howlett were huge for the Pies, while Alissia Pearson and Ashleigh Bowen were South's best.
In the knock-out semi-final, Bridgenorth made a great fist of their first finals appearance before falling to reigning premier Evandale 7.4 (46) to 3.6 (24).
Sally Stone-Shack (four goals) built on a top performance last weekend with a best-on-ground display and combined with Narine Maurangi for all seven of the Weagles' majors.
The Parrots remained within two goals at the final change, but could not find a way to score in the last term.
The Weagles will meet South in the preliminary final next Saturday.
