Discovery Early Centres is in the process of constructing a state-of-the-art early learning centre at the Launceston Health Hub, which will be open in October.
The early learning centre will be open for sessions between 6.30am and 10.30pm Monday to Friday to help cater for shift workers and other working parents.
Enrolments are already being taken for the centre, which will have a capacity of 120 children aged from birth to six years old, across six developmentally and age-appropriate rooms.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Discovery chief executive Jo Walsh said they were excited to be able to extend their services in the Launceston area and that the Health Hub is the perfect location.
"The Health Hub is the perfect location for busy parents and allows us to link with other health services that are available for families within the hub," Mrs Walsh said.
The Launceston early learning centre will also offer safe and convenient access from the Launceston General Hospital as well as direct access from Wellington Street.

Ms Walsh said Discovery Early Learning Centres' values of imagine, explore, discover have formed the basis of the facility's design and the services offered within the new early learning centre.
The indoor and outdoor environments have been designed to facilitate play-based learning with natural environments that spark imagination, build resilience and encourage socialisation.
The purpose-built facility features an extensive nature-based outdoor environment that fosters children's natural curiosity, and desire for exploration.
"With over a decade of consistent success in shaping the future for children, family owned and operated, Discovery Early Learning Centres are excited to open this state-of-the-art facility that will set the benchmark for education and care in Tasmania," Mrs Walsh said.
The service will supply nutritious meals prepared by a qualified chef, including breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner depending on the sessions children attend.
Discovery has sought a team of highly experienced and qualified early childhood educators to ensure that the highest quality of care and early education will be available to children accessing the service.
It will also offer a number of extracurricular activities including movement programs, music therapy and regular excursions on the Discovery bus.
Launceston Health Hub owner and doctor Jerome Muir-Wilson said the vision from the centre grew from about two or three years of hard work and collaboration.
He said as a medical professional, finding access to child care had always been difficult and he soon realised, through discussions with his own staff and colleagues that they had similar problems.
After meeting with Walsh's and hearing about the Discovery Early Learning Centre's model, the vision for the centre began to emerge.

"We always had the capacity to build over three levels, but I don't think when I first imagined the hub that we'd have a child care centre there, but it does seem to be a good fit," Dr Muir Wilson said.
"There was a need there, that we experienced ourselves, so we're happy to be partners in finding a solution to that need.
"It's challenging for health workers, in particular, anecdotally they often seem to have to rely more on their own families and parents for child care."
The centre will be a first for Launceston, with no other child care centres open for those extended hours.
Dr Muir-Wilson said he was impressed with how the centre fits in well with the hub while also maintaining Discovery's values and goals.
"They have really gone for a quality fit-out and have put a lot of effort into the design and what it looks like."
All of the centre's rooms will open on to their own outdoor play space to help maximise outdoor curious play.
