Launceston
Penny Royal - Now's a great time to get the family together and check out Penny Royal Adventures which has an abundance of kid-friendly things to do.
These include the water screen, gold and gemstone mining, The Dark Ride and of course rock climbing.

QVMAG - Unfortunately, due to popular demand, the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery's July School Holiday Program is officially booked out.
However, if you have time with the kids checking out the QVMAG's Dinosaur rEVOLUTION exhibition is well worth it with plenty of rad reptiles to enjoy.

Tamar Valley
Tasmania Zoo - Tasmania Zoo is inviting families to come and check out their adorable red pandas every day at 11.45am until July 21.
George Town Community Hub - George Town Community Hub has plenty of things for children to do over the school holidays.
Highlights include Rock and Rhyme for children aged 0-5-years-old [Monday, July 8 and 15] and Create your own Library Bags for all ages [Wednesday, July 10 and 17].

West Tamar School Holiday Program - Make sure you book you child or children in for West Tamar's School Holiday Program, which includes trips to Village Cinemas [for ages 13-17-years-old], live music at the Windsor Sound Shell and Tornadoes Basketball.
Bookings are essential and can be done through this form.
North-East
Scottsdale Library - As per usual the Scottsdale Library has plenty of great activities for kids to enjoy over the break.
If you have a love for Lego definitely get tickets for the LEGO Challenge.
The interactive workshop for teams of four involves three separate challenges for participants to do.

Bikes and Christmas in July - The Meander Valley Council has unveiled it's school holiday program, which includes a Railton biking trip and a festive Christmas in July cooking session.

Longford PCYC - PCYC sessions will be ran weekly between 3pm and 4.30pm at 23 William Street until December 18.

What Do We Want for Fingal - The Fingal District Progress Committee will be hosting a social barbecue at the Fingal Valley Neighbourhood House on July 10 at 11am.
The aim of the event is to discuss developing new activities for kids in the area.
