Past players, coaches and fans will return to the club for the 40-year reunion of the 1979 flag, as well as the 10-year reunion of the eight-straight flags between 2002 and 2009.
Anthony Axton, who took over from Dale Chugg for the final three flags between 2007-2009, said 38 players from the 2002-2009 era and a dozen from 1979 would attend the function.
He encouraged anyone else involved with the club during either era to attend.
"It was an Australian record," Axton said of the eight consecutive flags.

"It got into a grey area because of the league changing its divisions when the statewide came in, so whether it was an Australian record or wasn't I'm not sure, but it was a golden era in football and something that won't be repeated in Tassie for a long time I'd imagine."
Axton said a stellar culture was behind the club's unprecedented run of success.
"It's the same as successful footy clubs now ... they were there because they loved the footy club, not there for financial benefit," he said.
The function will continue into George Town's home clash with Scottsdale on Saturday.
