At a ceremony at Government House on Tuesday, the nine members of cabinet made an affirmation swearing to faithfully execute the office of their respective portfolios.
Premier Will Hodgman announced a cabinet reshuffle on Sunday as the result of former minister Jacquie Petrusma stepping down for health reasons.

There was laughter as cabinet's newest member, Lyons MHA Mark Shelton, had to put on his glasses to read his affirmation.
Mr Shelton has been appointed Police Minister, Minister for Local Government and as a member of the Executive Council.
"I will in all things be a true and faithful counsel," Mr Shelton affirmed.
Parliament will resume after the winter break on Tuesday, July 30.
